Kathleen Facial Sonic Cleansing Device
I purchased the Kathleen Facial Sonic Cleansing Device from Kathleen, who are a UK based skincare company, founded in Lemington Spa. This company is all about using natural ingredients to create premium skincare products, they promise that their products are free from:
- Synthetic Colours
- Polyethylene glycol
- and they don’t test on animals.
Pretty extensive list if you ask me. I haven’t really tried much from the skincare line but if this sonic cleanser is anything to go by, then I will definitely be divulging into this brand more.
So the device itself is made of silicone, which is great news as you don’t need to buy replacements heads and is a much more hygienic option as it won’t breed bacteria or anything else that you really don’t want to be putting on your face. You charge the device up by plugging the USB charger into the side of the device, one thing I must say about this device is how well the charge lasts. I’ve had this now for around 2 months, and I use this every night and I’ve only ever charged it once when I first received it. This would be ideal to take on holiday as you don’t have to fuss around with taking chargers with you.
I use this every night after I’ve removed my make up. I have used this to remove my make up before but it doesn’t do that great of a job at removing all of your foundation and it’s a bit too rough around the ever so sensitive eye area. The device has a normal cleansing side pictured above and a deeper cleansing side, as below. On the normal cleansing side theres a detailed section so you can get in all the nooks and crannys of your face.
Now I’m an avid Clarisonic user and I didn’t think anything would ever be able to replace my precious Clarisonic. However, this has replaced my Clarisonic at night, which is quite shocking for me!
To sum it up, I love this device, I love how deeply cleansed my skin feels after use. I do feel that this has really helped my acne prone skin. I feel I get a deeper clean and it really gets all the dirt and grime out. Would definitely recommend this to everyone and anyone, even if you are a Clarisonic obsessive like me.
Have you tried any other of the Kathleen products? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
